If you like to write stories or poetry, this is the challenge for you.

Contact us to let us know you are taking part in Challenge Plus then:

This is what you do

  • Write a short story about animals, owning pets, the work of PDSA or anything relating to our animal friends.

  • The story should have a minimum of 300 words (about an A4 sheet) and can be handwritten or printed from the computer.

Or

  • Compose a selection of poems, limericks or acrostics (a poem in which the initial letter of each line spells another word) using an animal theme.

  • There is no set number of poems or verses but we need more than just 3 or 4 lines!

  • Illustrate your poems if you wish.

Send your stories and poems to us, along with your completed PetAid challenge report plus form at the National Volunteering Centre PDSA, Unit 9, City Business Centre, Hyde Street, Winchester SO23 7TA, and we will send you your PetAid challenge certificate and prize.

The best stories and poems will be judged when we choose the PDSA PetAid challenger of the Year and, with your permission, will be published in PDSA magazines.
