Lucky ~ Chloe Gray
I am here all alone in the pound,
I was left by the road to be found,
In here is fear and misery,
The outside world we cannot see,
I am here all alone in the pound.
A family's come to get me hip hurray!
It's my one and only chance to get away,
A boy strokes me, I lick his face,
Then he takes me to his place,
A family's come to get me hip hurray!
I am warm, loved and happy in my home,
I have a garden with a fence so I don't roam,
I learn that Lucky is my name,
I can sit and play 'fetch' game,
I am warm and loved and happy in my home.
My new family doesn't have much money,
Which now I'm ill is far from funny,
But thanks to PDSA,
I am treat with nothing to pay,
My new family doesn't have much money.
Please think about what you could do,
To help more animals like me too,
Could you give some money away,
To help a charity like PDSA,
Please think about what you could do.
