I need lots of fresh water water every day -don't forget to keep my bowl clean too!

I love meat, so feed me tinned dog food mixed with dog mixer biscuits.

Don't ever feed me chocolate or bones!

I need lots of exercise - this means at least two walks a day!

I love spending time with you, so try not to leave me alone for more than four hours at a time.

Don't throw sticks for me to fetch as they can splinter and hurt my throat, but I love playing with dog toys!

I need a collar with an identify disk on it, even if I have a microchip, which is a permanent form of identification.

I need you to help me keep my teeth nice and clean. Talk to your vet about dental chews, dental toys, doggy toothbrushes and doggy toothpaste.

Check my fur regularly for nasty parasites like fleas.

Take me to the vet for advice about vaccinations, microchipping, neutering, regular flea treatment and worming.

When we are out together keep me on a lead near traffic and always get an adult to scoop up my poos!

Think safety - make sure that I cannot reach anything dangerous as I am very inquisitive!
