PDSA have over 179 charity shops in high streets across the UK, all raising money to help to keep our free veterinary service going. If you do this challenge you will help your nearest PDSA shop to raise those vital funds.
Here's how -
- Fill in the PetAid challenge notification form telling us what you plan to do and we will send you sponsor forms and an authority badge. We will also send you an authority badge and PDSA collection sacks - we will send you 5, but you can request more if you're ambitious!
- Your challenge is to fill these sacks with good quality donated goods to be sold in our shops.
- Ask your family, friends and neighbours to have a clear-out - we especially want bric-a-brac, toys, books and nearly new clothes - remember these items should be in good condition to sell.
On average, the contents of your 5 filled sacks will raise enough money to treat 5 sick and injured pets.
- When you have filled your sacks - the next part of the challenge is to get them to a PDSA shop.
- Use the 'Find Us' facility on the main PDSA website to find your nearest shop
- Take your sacks to the shop and ask the manager to sign your PetAid challenge report form, then send it off to the PDSA National Volunteering Centre PDSA, Unit 9, City Business Centre, Hyde Street, Winchester SO23 7TA, for your certificate and prize!
