Club awards!

Everytime you help PDSA we give you points. These add up as you keep helping us. When you reach 500 points you'll get your first club award - a Pickles certificate and pin badge.

Keep helping, keep getting points and collect the whole gang! They are:

Pickles - 500 points
Dodger - 1,500 points
Sparky - 3.500 points
Amber 6,000 points
Supervet - 10,000 points

Once you have reached the top award, which is 10,000 points for Supervet, you compete for two very special yearly awards - Young Fundraiser of the Year and Pet Protector of the Year.

The Pet Protectors year runs from 1 September to 31 August. The title of Pet Protector of the Year is awarded to the member who has collected the most points in that time. The title of Young Fundraiser of the Year is awarded to the member who has raised the most money to help PDSA.

2009 winners!

Pet Protector of the Year - Nathan Williamson

For the second year running Nathan Williamson is our Pet Protector of the Year - smashing his record last year with 83,770 points!

Nathan has worked incredibly hard to achieve this total, donating thousands of items to PDSA charity shops as well as entering competitions and sending in pictures.

Fundraiser of the Year - Anna Silverstein

Anna raised a staggering £1,530 for PDSA by doing a sponsored bike ride from Gloucestershire to London, cycling 20 miles a day! She has also helped raise money through car boot sales. Well done Anna!

Below is the league table for the new Pet Protector year. These are the results for June, will it change next month? Come back and see!

To grab your points for donating items to your local PDSA shop, here's what you do...

1) Collect items, count them and put them into sacks.

2) Write down your name and Pet Protectors club membership number and the number of items you are donating on a piece of paper or fill in this form.

3) Take the sacks along to your nearest PDSA shop and get a member of staff to sign the form for you.

4) Send that into the Pet Protectors office and we'll add points to your total then send you a postcard telling you how many points you now have!

This is a great way of getting in your parent's good books and helping PDSA! Let us know if you are doing this and we can send you special pink sacks to collect things in.
