Young PDSA Photography competition results
This year we were snowed under with fantastic entries.
Some were wacky, others beautiful and some were just too cute for words!
It meant our judges had a really tough time selecting the winners, but here they are …

Best Pet Portrait Winner! Luke Niblett
Luke cleverly thought to get down onto the ground to shoot this different angle and created a dramatic black and white portrait of his dog.

Best Pet Portrait RUNNER UP! Eloise Trett
The cat’s stunning eyes in this picture caught the judge’s attention straight away!

Age 12 & under WINNER! Robyn Nolan
The contrast of silhouetted birds and the blue sky, as well as the diagonal angle of the wire make Robyn’s photograph very eye-catching!
Age 12 & under RUNNER UP! Emily Hayward
It takes great patience to photograph flying insects! Emily did an impressive job taking this interesting photograph of such a delicate little creature.
13-18 years WINNER! Katie Wilson
The judges thought that this image was stunning. The peacock’s body is perfectly framed by its feathers and Katie was very clever to get him to fill the whole picture.

13-18 years RUNNER UP! Gemma McAdam
The judges loved Gemma’s black and white image which captures a special moment in time with her Grandad and cousin.

Highly commended award! Kerry Smith
The judges loved Kerry’s photograph of her dog. Just looking at it makes you smile back at him!
